 Them there 'completed' magics

So, as far as the Anime/manga is concerned, these magics are done, I'd like to fix that, since those magics suck ass, so Imma list thems here, the spells on them magics, and them spells in that there magics.

Airspace: so Imma be honest, this shit been overpowered, and to be even more honest, this shit got like 5 spells, two of them are supportive, the rest were OP damage spells including....
Metsu(Destruction): Target Damage. Zetsu: Projectile Area of Effect. Zero: Multi-Projectile. Aisu(Eyes): Spell Buff. Terepooto(Teleport*): Self Invisibility

tbh, i cant make up that last romaji, I wish i could, its hilarious. anyway, so Ive noted all the named spells from airspace are in romaji regardless, so i went through, picked a bunch of romaji words i liked, and decided that I might add them.
My Thoughts:Veovu(Wave), Parusu(Pulse), Paamu(Palm), Obu(Orb), Hoippu(Whip), Ransu(Lance)
I dont have a general idea for any of these, but the name kind of is an implications of my ideas for them....

Fairy: yeah, this magic is about as feminine as Rainbow Fire sounds, and the spells suck physically....
Fairy Bomb Gremlin: Target Damage. Fairy Dust: Self Invisibility. Fairy Machine Gun Leprechaun: Mass Projectile. Fairy Orb: Projectile. Fairy Ray: Beam.

yeah.....this is pretty varied, but I'd like to add more spells then that, msotly because it should be more awesome, and ill be honest with a magic that produces a light shiny dust that has explosive properties made some of the thoughts a little hard...
My Thoughts:Fairy Wave Lamia(Multi Projectile), Fairy Blast(Big Projectile), Fairy Flash Nymph(All Mob AoE), Fairy Shield Gorgon(Shield), Fairy Blade Golem(Melee w/ Explosive)

Hair: a new magic i added in, with few spells, Id just like to add more...stuff to it...
Crimson Hair: Multi-Beam. Hair Shield: Shield. Hair Shower Firefly Flame: Projectile AoE. Hair Shower Thousand Birds: Mass Projectile. Hair Shower Wolf Fang: Projectile. Hair Whip: Beam

that list be awesome...but, not quite awesome enough...
My Thoughts:Hair Tangle(All Mob AoE), Hair Bind(Target Bind), Hair Shower Rain of Ages(Area AoE)

Lightning Dragon Slayer: so, Ill be honest, I moved a bunch of them spells from LDS to Lightning, so this is a little....barren....
Lightning Dragons Roar: Beam. Lightning Dragons Heavenward Halberd: Projectile. Lightning Dragons Jaw: Melee. Lightning Dragons Breakdown Fist: Projectile. Roaring Thunder(SA): Multihit Charge

yeah....i got jackshit for this list, maybe Claw, or some fang shit, idk.

Lightning God Slayer: this just...doesnt have shit....
Lightning Gods Sphere: projectile. Lightning Gods Charged Particle Cannon: Beam. Lightning Gods Punch: Melee. Lightning Gods Bellow: Beam.

again, jackshit.

Shadow: yeah, this is pretty limited, and the amount of spells seems to be pretty poriented to one way or another.
Knuckle: Target Damage w/ Pushback. Guard: Shield. Form: Body 'trans' that increase speed, and allows for some transparency through solid materials while in form. Pull: Target Bind. Orochi: Multi-Beam

as expected: shit amounted = 0
I think i ran out of shit on this list....so imma going to stop typing now, time to icon some more... (me->) Sleep _[   ](<-my laptop)

Okay here's the ideas i have in mind.

Counter (This is for lightning)

The counter system can be seen as a sort of superficial countdown of sorts.

My first spell hits. if you are hit you gain 1 Ghost of ET counter. The reason i have ghost of et there is because that counter is only special to me and me alone if someone else puts a counter on the same enemy they gain their counter but it doesnt affect my counter number.

At 10 counters the person has something wrong with them maybe a stun but since i hate stuns fluff that. maybe a powerful debuff or maybe they are slowed, but that counter system can work sort of like that (Maybe you can come up with a spell thats damage is dependant on the number of counters that person has.


Another lightning spell the living lasor remeber how that lightning dude turned himself into lightning and moves super fast? yeah thats what this is we turn into a lightning laser type thing and move as if we're a projectile we litterally turn intol a laser and when we use the skill where we are facing we will go as fast as the laser. can be used for getting away or getting closer Wink.

Some other skills that may come in handy


So imagine a 3x3 aoe meaning you're in the middle and its 3 tile wide 3 tiles long. Now imagine that being moved until its in front of you. thats what this skill is in that area all enemies are hit

fire a projectile not a beam that goes 5 tiles it deals no damage but once it gets to the 5th tile it stands up and emit a wave its a slow moving wave but anyone caught in it is prevented from using any techs what so ever, any current buffs ib them is removed and any form they are in is stripped from them leaving them in their normal form this lasts for 3 seconds. a wave basically mean and aoe that gets larger every second.

That type of skill can be made to do several diffrent things like instead of it releasing a wave it fires beams that go in 4 tiles every couple of second or it can make sort of a reverse wave type thing where the wave reduces in size every second.

Next is hiding inside of someone's shadow. Remeber all thosemmos have a sort of follow system where you can follow someone in your party this is sort of what this is instead you are hiding directly on top of them no one can see you or tell if you are there except of you but how do you do it? You fire your shadow like a sort of projectile that you can control within limited range as it can only moves 20 tiles. Your shadow is invisible to everyone but you and you are stuck where you are until your shadow disappears or you attach to someone by moving your shadow onto them. And voila you are now combined with their shadow. This is only a sort of fun spell for ambushing people like have one person fight a guy then when the guy gets low you can pop out of them and attack the guy they are fighting. or you can attach to an enemy so they can stroll into their city past their defences and bam you pop out and murder everyone. Tada!!

Imagine me being a pro bto and actually raping you with my punches. What would you do? run away? or stun me? most people just stun me. but what i you dont have a stun? what can you do to stop the onslaught and since i keep moving positions you can possibly touch me with your spells. this type of spell helps this small problem. the spell leaves a trail behind of it so if i use it and everything 5 tiles in front of me is turned into that part of the trail lets say that what i use was a fire spell and it leaves the fire trail. Walk on it and you get burnt for as long as you stand on it. that will lower the places i could actually go and narrow it down so you can have a sliver of a chance these types of spells would have low cool downs, but its true potential is only sparked when someone moves onto it.

Time clicker type spells. imagine someone who is sick and you know they are sick and they only have so much time until they die. Well this is what this is. It gives someone a specific amount of time until they take damage these types of spell require high amounts of stats to use and it also drains your magika until the timer goes off. Usually when someone takes damage the time is lowered, but to increase the time until you take damage you have to dish out damage. time clickers are tricky and if done well many people will find it balanced.

alright, one complicated systems like that for one magic is the exact kind of crap that causes those magics to get OP,

two Lightning Body is already in, you should pay attention to my updates, it is essentially Meteor for Lightning Magic atm.

im not going to touch the giant projectile thing >.>

'hiding': isn't there a point to things that make you invisible or otherwise unseen?

part of me immedietly thinks ' if i dont have a bind, its because IM using BTO xD'

the last one seems like a good idea, but i made this thread looking more for specifically ideas on spells for the above listed magics, or opinions on my own thoughts for said spell ideas.

But my idea for the lightning skill is to make you a beam that can deal damage to people QQ.

Also the counter system can be used for diffrent magics and not just one Wink you could always change it so that forever counter a person has they deal 5% less damage Very Happy/

but the spell you described as the basis of that spell is Lightning Body :p

anyway, Im going to randomly rant off onto w/e spells im doing today, ill probably think about doing the trans spells on my list again, and then think of an excuse not to do them

In depth counters <3

So wanna know more about counters? :3

First off is how long counters last. They last on how ever long you think they should Very Happy.if it was my game though i would have all counters removed after 20 seconds.

Next what all counters are able to do. Counters can do what ever you want them to maybe you can only use a skill as long as someone has 10 or so of YOUR counters on them. Or maybe for every of YOUR counter someone has on them they will automatically lose attacking power and or defense. Maybe it increases the magika cost of a spell. Hell you can even combine Counters with time clickers. Like as my opponent gains 5 counter they will take 2000 points of damage in 12 seconds, but if they deal damage to something that time will increase by 3 seconds every time they deal damage, and once 20 seconds is over and all counters are removed the time clicker is no longer in effect. See that pro af combo Wink?

This spell deals 700*(How many # of counters person hit by this has) in damage so if i somehow hit someone 15 times within the 20 seconds before the counters are removed then they will take 10500 as damage though its impossible

Just realize i havent explained a bit about the time thing Wink.

as soon as my counter is planted onto you the count down begins before it is removed that time isnt refreshed when a counter is added, and 20 seconds after the first counter is placed on all counters on the person is removed. That's to help with the balancing. You will really need to use skill to make full use of your counters Very Happy and it should always be that way. Always.
